The Formula

Beard Bloom is prepared based on an Ayurvedic formula mentioned in the Ayurvedic Classical text Bhaishajya Ratnavali.

This ancient text contains compilation and systematic categorization of the different herbal and herbomineral formulations. Hence it can be called the first Ayurvedic formulary. Many popular and highly effective Ayurvedic medicines are based on this text.

The ingredients

Root of Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra - Root).

One of the main ingredients is root of the medicinal plant Yashtimadhu. Yashtimadhu is widely used in Ayurvedic treatments for thousands of years in the traditional medicine system.

The anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, analgesic and expectorant properties of this is sweet, moist herb has been established worldwide through research.

In traditional folk medicine, Yashtimadhu is believed to “harmonize” the ingredients in a formula and to carry the formula to the 12 “regular meridians”.

Yashtimadhu has the ability to purify and nourish the blood vessels to increase the blood flow. It increases the blood circulation to the facial hair area, which helps to deliver nutrients and hormones to the follicle. This helps to fill the patchy areas to make the beard thicker and fuller.

Argan, Amla, Fresh Milk and Sesame.

The phenols in argan oil support and strengthen hair follicles and the antioxidants promotes cell production. The vitamins in argan oil promote healthy skin and scalp. The argan oil not only promotes hair growth, but it helps you grow thick, healthy hair to boot.

Amla contains oodles of essential fatty acids that penetrate into the follicles, making the hair softer, shinier and voluminous. It also stimulates hair growth owing to its high iron and carotene content.

Milk contains two kinds of proteins, whey and casein. Casein is rich in glutamine, which is an essential amino acid. According to the Society of Investigative Dermatology, glutamine improves hair follicle growth and therefore casein is essential for the growth of hair. Whey stems hair loss, reverses it and strengthens the hair. The topical use of whey stimulates the hair follicles.

200ml of milk is used to prepare 50ml of Beard Bloom Beard Oil. Yes! Using the traditional Ayurvedic boiling method 200ml of milk is boiled to make 50ml of Beard Bloom Oil.

Sesame seeds contain essential fatty acids such as omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 which promote hair growth. Sesame seed oil stimulates hair growth by nourishing, conditioning, and promoting a healthy scalp. The regular massage with warm sesame oil penetrates your skin, thus increasing the blood circulation to deliver nutrition to the follicles.

Beard Bloom also helps to make the beard healthy and shiny. It’s a good moisturiser too.
